TUGBOAT MATE – PUGET SOUND/HARBOR

$120,000/yr to start; $682.92/day 

Dunlap Towing Company is looking for a Mate with extensive Puget Sound experience to join our team. This position will be responsible for towing various barges between Puget Sound ports and Canada. Harbor work will include tug/barge assist work in and out of various Puget Sound ports including Bellingham, Anacortes, and Everett as well as barge towing on the Snohomish River. We are looking to hire immediately.

PUGET SOUND MATE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 200 Ton, minimum.
• Towing Endorsement(Not assistance towing) – REQUIRED
• Ability to sail to/from Canada.
• Medical Certificate
• State Driver’s License.
• US Passport.
• Permanent residence in Washington or Oregon is highly preferred.
• Must be able to read, speak, and understand English.
• Experience sailing as Mate in the Puget Sound highly preferred

Experience sailing in the Puget Sound and to ports in Canada.
