Join a team that respects your license and your experience. Dunlap Towing Company is hiring an experienced Tugboat Mate to operate in Puget Sound and Canadian ports. This role combines Puget Sound barge towing and great benefits with a reliable schedule.

💰 What You’ll Get

• $682.92/day – starting at $120,000/year (180 workdays)
• 2-week on / 2-week off rotation

⚓ The Role

• Tow barges between Puget Sound ports and Canada
• Work closely with the Master to operate tugs safely and efficiently
• Hands-on role that values skill, professionalism, and teamwork

📜 What We’re Looking For

• Mate of Tow (200 Ton minimum) – towing endorsement required
• Valid Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC)
• Valid Medical Certificate
• TWIC card and driver’s license
• Experience sailing as Mate in Puget Sound strongly preferred
• Ability to sail to/from Canada (passport required)
• Local candidates in Washington preferred

Preferred Experience:

• 1+ year Puget Sound towing
